Hello Kaboodle friends! I've been a bit slow in commenting on all your great blogazine posts because I was insanely busy planning my wedding. Today's my first day back from the honeymoon, and how fitting is it that we launched our gorgeous new Dream Wedding Essentials section?!

Here are a few pics from the wonderful day!

In the spirit of WIW posts, here's what I wore: A 2009 lace and beaded Pronovias gown, costume chandelier earrings, and a tennis bracelet my parents gave me as a gift the night before.

My bouquet had green Hydrangea, green orchids (Cyndibium), green roses, and a few off-white roses (Vandalla). Crystals were inserted in various flowers and the cream ribbon was held by more crystal pins (bring on the bling! ;)).

The best/most special part of my ensemble was a picture of my grandparents' wedding day in 1937 shrunken down and placed in a trinket tied to my bouquet.

First two photos are from CMC Photography; third photo comes courtesy of one of my girlfriends.

Oh, and now that I don't have a wedding to plan, I can't wait to get back to reading and commenting on all of your blogazine posts again! Holla!

  • CONGRATULATIONS on going from Miss to Mrs! Gorgeous pictures....all! BEAUTIFUL color for your bridesmaids and it looks like it was a fantastic day. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your idea of using your grandparents wedding pic in your bouquet! Pictures of weddings from that era are NOT so easy to find! That would be a beautiful tradition....I am hoping to convince my daughters and DIL's to incorporate in their children's weddings.....despite the fact they are many years away. Have you posted that pic??? IF not, would you consider posting it...I am enthralled with wedding pictures, wedding gowns, wedding traditions and particularly those from pre-1955, especially because they are less and less accessible before that year.
