Reliving My Past In Plaid

Seriously?! Plaid, again? I mean, I get it--the whole school girl look; the whole Britney Spears circa 1999 thing. A guy's fantasy is the girl in the plaid skirt, knee-high stockings, Mary Jane's, and a polo shirt. In fact, in a very un-scientific poll I've conducted in my life, I've found that 99% of guys prefer the school girl fantasy over the Princess Leia fantasy, hands down.
But let's say you had to wear plaid for 13 years of your life. From my first day in Kindergarten in that over-the-head jumper to my last day of high school in that pleated, rolled-up and bunched-up skirt, I lived, ate, and breathed PLAID.
Perhaps only those of you forced to wear private school uniforms for so many years can empathize with me and my aversion to plaid. Maybe only you can truly know what it has been like the past month to walk through Macy's Junior's section and see your whole life flash before you in a sea of plaid.
I'll take paisley any day.

Seriously awesome post. I'm not a lplaid kind of girl, but I kind of like the top in the upper left. Guys and their fantasies... pfft! But you're dead right.
pretty!! : ]
Hahaha--I went to private schools and wore plaid almost everyday, too. I hated it then, but now I love it! : )
