As you all know, (and if you don't, check this out: http://www.kaboodle.com/holiday/holiday-wishaday) this year Kaboodle teamed up with great retailers to give away more then $30,0000 worth of prizes for the Wish-A-Day Giveaway. Well guess what? I WON!! This is actually the first time I've ever won anything in my life, so needless to say I'm pretty stoked about it. I won a $250 dollar gift card to the very cool and contemporary 80's purple and the above items are what I ended up buying with the gift card. I think all three pieces will blend in seamlessly with my wardrobe and I know I will get a lot of wear out of them. Yay, Merry Christmas to me. :)

Congrats! I have never really won anything...the closest to winning anything was getting the chance to do the Shopping Scout videos at Kaboodle. That was like winning something to me. Great choices! I can see how seamless they'll be. The coolest thing I ever won was a science fiction writing contest in fourth grade. I won a book and I think like $50 or something. Congratulations! You've picked some really nice pieces that look really wearable. Lucky lady! I won a frisbee when I was about 7, third place in a fancy dress contest at school. I was pretty pleased with that, but more pleased with my amazing costume (a sunflower). I won some Tigi shampoo and conditioner this summer too, from Glamour Magazine's website. CONGRATS, LUCKY! I never win anything either. I literally entered sweepstakes every single day this summer. Then, one day about a month ago I got a package. It was a set of razors.. Not a big prize, but still.. I was excited I at leat won SOMETHING! Oh, I love your new items. Great choices. I did win a $500 HH Gregg gift card 3 years ago. I entered their giveaway and forgot about it and then one day I get an e-mail from someone I never heard of from their and whola I'm in the store purchasing a media cabinet and a digital camera! Congratulations! Glad to see that one of my friends actually won! You'll have to do WIW posts with the spoils.The biggest thing I ever remember winning was my family won an unfinished curio cabinet from a drawing at an unfinished furniture store that had just opened near our house. We were so excited because we hadn't won anything before, and it was really nice -- they still have it. This past summer I won a really nice blender for mixed drinks at a picnic at work. I haven't used it yet and I think I'm going to sell it to buy an espresso machine (even though some of the folks in the office are still bugging me about when I'm going to make margaritas :-) .
