Each Genpet™ comes with a color-coded personality. For example, a child that wishes to have a Genpet™ that is very energetic would choose a Red Genpet™ . I saw this, too, a few months ago, but the site i read it on (http://www.geekologie.com/2008/09/post_53.php) made it obvious that it was fake.

I love it that an artist came up with this to get the general public thinking about the concept of bioengineering and how they would feel about where that science would lead us. That's very smart art. Love it. (and if it were real it would probably scare the shit out of me and make me never want to leave my house. Ugh..)
