Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted to my blog so I thought I'd post something. ; )
Well, early this year I moved out to Connecticut to be with my fiance. I haven't loved it all that much. It's been alright being someplace new... it's a fairly pretty place..but it's been cold and I haven't had much money.. so that means it hasn't been that exciting! I think I would feel a bit different about it under different circumstances.. but either way, I'm really happy that we're moving. This means we'll be within driving distance of our families and friends back home. I can just come home any weekend! This will really make wedding planning easier!
I'm so excited! Plus, it's a really pretty city with lots to do. (well, for Michigan at least) So, we'll be moving at the end of the month. We have yet to find a place. He'll be calling about one tomorrow, so please pray that works out! It's a really great deal and great location!
Do any of you live far from home, or have you in the past? How is/was that for you?

Whereabouts in Michigan are you moving? I grew up in Metro Detroit! I moved to Chicago for college, which isn't too far, but I sold my car before I moved and I was a poor college student, so no matter how short of a train ride it would be I could rarely afford a ticket.
