@kabroskie Strawberries that get to ripen on the vine instead of being picked early to ship better are awesome. My grandma's were right next to the apple trees, and they were always so good too!

Those strawberries remind me of a few summers ago when I went to West Virginia with a friend who's parents were building a cabin on the top of a mountain. There were wild strawberries all over and we'd all walk around eating them.

I have never had a homegrown tomato, but I've heard they are amazing. My grandma just started a vegetable garden this spring, so when I visit this summer I'll finally get to try some home grown veggies :D

Home grown veggies are the best. I grew up in the "Garden State" (Ugh! - anyone makes fun of that and "I kill you" ;) and we had the bestest tomatoes and corn and strawberries and so many other things.

Hydroponic garden is where you grow things in water instead of soil.

haha, after reading all these comments I see a horror movie where lamerchick comes to kabroskie's cabin in order to murder him for his strawberries. Over his dead body she looks into the eerily human eyes of the dog to discover the soul of her long-lost something or other is trapped in the body of a dog. The dog lips comments made me think somebody should make-out with the dog, but I don't know if anybody is down for making out with a dog. And the big spiders, they'd be great for an 8-legged Freaks angle. Perhaps the spiders can be frozen by the Mega Mega Hold (one mega is not enough) of the LA Looks hair gel? Man, this movie is writing itself.
Also...fresh strawberries, your dog, and a weekend away? Nobody is going to feel sorry for you! I could whine about the English weather, but I think the majority of people would say, "Awwww, it is raining and cold in England? Boo hoo." But man, I do wish the sun would come out.
