The path we take.

I’m lost again, again in the dark. I feel the cold closing in. I feel the presence of light. It is as bright as the sun but is dimmed by the dark. So dark, so faint, as if it was a firefly that is about to die.
I looked through the dark. I find my heart. I see all the bumps in the road that will come and that have passed. I look back and see all those bumps that were obstacles in my life. Some were big. Some were small. It is like you are on I-25 and all of a sudden an obstacle or a bump - it might be something, or it might be someone - comes up in your way. Instead of fixing the obstacle, you take the nearest exit and then you are lost again.
The exit you take may be wrong, but somehow you get back onto that I-25 in your life. The bumps in your road may be hard to get over, but some are as small as a pebble and you go right over them. Your life is like a highway. There may be car crashes. There may be obstacles. There may be hills to the paths you take but some how we all ways find our way home!
