I read the book and it was wonderful. When I went to watch the play I was confused because it didn't follow the story line as I remembered. But the musical was amazing I saw it in San Francisco this past weekend. My boyfriend gave me tickets for my birthday. I actually took a photo of the set and one of the ushers yelled at me... it was kinda of funny. I was wondering if any of you who read the book and watched the play thought the same thing?
