I remember being all of 10 years old and watching Star Wars from the first row. The movie had this funny robot which could talk, walk and transmit holographic videos of princess Leia. A little friend that every 10 year boy was itching to have! Well a few short years later, it is now available as a full blown cd/dvd/ipod/dlp projection gizmo that can be controlled with a remote stored in R2D2's brain stem. This awsome contraption from Hammacher Schlemmer can also move around the house and has smart sensors that keep it from falling down the stairs. It's not cheap but then what's a few grand for true love...

I am REALLY waiting for the type of 3D projection thing to come out in camera form. Last week we spent seven days in New Hampshire. My kids bought me a digital camera for my birthday. I had been using two disposables a week for about ten years since my last camera bit the dust. ANYWAY....I took 700 pics while we were on vacation. HEAVEN...BUT, if I ever got my hands on a 3D projection camera....I guess ALL I would do is take pics....sort of like YOU @marrc with your iphone when it was brand new!
