When Segways first came out, they were rather hyped up and really did not live up to the promise. I mean trying to ride around in a helmet using a gyroscope is not exactly everyone's dream. But the X2 for golf from Segway is finally a product that is very lovable. Imagine the thrill of segwaying your way through 18 holes in record time. The X2 has a place for a golf set and your favorite beverage. It is eco-friendly and with a top speed of 12.5 mph it's nicely powered. The best part of this segway is the special tires which make it possible to motor over the turf and not have to stick to the cart path. If eight thousand dollars sounds like a lot for a better way to "walk" through a golf course, then you may want tro try renting one. Many of the golf courses are offering the X2 as an alternative to the regular cart rental!
