  id think that would be a bit sexy for a high school homecomming. and you really don't need to go all out. its just homecomming, acutally you really dont need to go all out for any school dance, except for prom. just buy a nice dress, it didnt need to cost an arm and a leg, just some fun and cute.   Homecoming should be fun, but remember about Prom at the end of the year, at least at my school homecoming wasnt as much of a big deal as Prom, then you can have an awesome day of primping and then an evening/night of amazingness.   Definitely shop around. Bandage style dresses are in style, and you'll probably find one for a much more reasonable price. Spend bigger for prom, not so big on homecoming. Its funny, at our HS, Homecoming was casual dress dance. No one dressed up for that dance. Not sure how that came to be since most Homecoming dances seem to be more formal. So what I have to say is....make sure you have a good time, be you, and don't do anything that will make your parents regret letting you go (I KNOW you wouldn't anyway) Let us know how it went!
