I just read an article on MSN, about purses, and all the crazy, fun, weird things they carry in them. It made me wonder, what's in your purse? And why? 

Here is what is usually in mine:

• A book/magazine to read.
• Makeup: my compact, lip stain, mascara.
• Skin moisturizer.
• A reusable water bottle.
• Band-aids.
• Pocket Knife.
• Pepper Spray.
• Cellphone and Camera.
• Gum and/or mints.
• Toothbrush.
• Wallet/Checkbook
• Coin purse.
• Notebook & Pen.
• Snacks. Usually an apple, granola bar, or trail mix.
• Keys.
• Toy(s): Usually some sort of super-hero action figure, hot wheel, and/or dinosaur.
• Hand sanitizer and/or Wipes.
• Other items, such as an umbrella or sunblock - depends on the weather.
• Sunglasses, when not wearing.
• Tampons and/or pads, even when I am not in need of them - because someone else might.

I think that's about it. Nothing too crazy or exciting in my opinion. :-)
Why? Well, because I'm paranoid, a woman, a mom, a former Scout leader ("be prepared" they say), and because you'll never know...
