I wish I could afford ikea, they always have exactly what I want to put in my home. Except I always have to go to good will or make it myself to find it in my price range.
I bought the side table on the left (in black) and ♥ it!
appreciating your creativity! i love to do that re-furbish thing too but its so hard to find time anymore. that was my 'before i had kids' hobby. glad you are keeping it up. -Nadine, Topanien Gifts
Ikea is a perfect place to find something that is not expensive, given other alternatives; at IKEA it just "looks" expensive. Their designs are modern and I feel geared to young couples starting up. One can always add some eclectic touches of other periods ( not necessarily antiques ) for a perfect warm home.
I wish I had an Ikea in my hometown. The closest is 5 hours away and shipping is sooooo expensive :(
I live right about 10 minutes away from one, and I must admit that I love it!!! Most of my furniture is from Ikea and they have some of the coolest accessories too- great vases and candle holders!
