  Ikea is a perfect place to find something that is not expensive, given other alternatives; at IKEA it just "looks" expensive. Their designs are modern and I feel geared to young couples starting up. One can always add some eclectic touches of other periods ( not necessarily antiques ) for a perfect warm home.   I love IKEA, I just wish they weren't more than 1 to 1/2 hours away from me. And I also really don't get why IKEA hasn't worked out the shipping for their company.....I'm sure they would make TONS more.
