The Gift of Pampered...
The Christmas holidays are two months away. Sure, two months seem like a long time, but time can fly by very quickly. So it's never too early to start your Christmas shopping!

Christmas shopping can be tough, though, when you're on a budget and have a big family. And when you're married, the family becomes twice as big! So where do you go when you have to shop for plenty and you don't want your bank account going negative?

For me, the place is Bath & Body Works! Thankfully, the majority of my relatives are women, but the store does have things for men, too. It's all about pampering, and what's a better gift than pampering your loved ones? Bath & Body Works does have its expensive products, but if you shop smart, you can take advantage of their great deals. It's the perfect store!

One line they have is the True Blue Spa. It's great for loved ones who work hard and need soothing. Examples are their Moisturizing Gel Socks or their Softening Hand Lotion. They make me feel better just looking at them! Best of all, they have a 2 for $20 deal on a lot of their products!

Another line that draws me in even more is their Aromatherapy products (see image). They come in different categories, such as Sleep, Energy, and Sensuality. Last year I got my best friend the Lavender Vanilla Sleep Body Lotion, a product to relax and calm you so you sleep better. She loved it! The prices range depending on what it is, but you can find plenty of great things for cheap. The Lavender Vanilla Pillow Mist is only $10!

I saved plenty of money by shopping there last year, and I hope to do so again! Bath & Body Works is definitely my place for Christmas gifts. (Barnes and Nobles is my favorite place for birthday gifts!)

Tell me, what's your favorite holiday-shopping-on-a-budget spot?

xoxo,

  • Well, we normally have gift exchanges! Saves money because I do have a BIG family!!!!! However, now that you made this blog I found it funny because I just did this on sunday...I gave everyone a x-mas list, they were to write everything they would like to get for x-mas. Out of that list I wrote down the ten top things I would actually buy them. so i showed it to them and said these are the top 10 and in x-mas day one thing from this list will be yours!!! So I'm starting early this year..every check from now on I will buy someone a gift! by the time x-mas gets here BAM! I have the gifts and still have money $$$$ CHA CHING!!! • Thanks for the post! Helpful. I like their stuff, too. I shop mostly online, probably 90% of Christmas gifts. I don't have a favorite place, and I don' thave a lot of people to buy for, so it's not too complex. But one thing I've done the last few years is request a list by Nov. 1 of things people would like. That makes things SO much easier. Report Spam Posted by lamerchick at 4:58 AM on 10/23/08

  • Great post! I don't know anyone who wouldn't love those slippers! And nothing says "cozy" like warm milk and honey. :) Report Spam Posted by jinnyjinn at 9:20 AM on 11/18/08
