I meant mother Earth as in - the land we live on, the air we breath (80% of our oxygen is produced by marine plants), the food we eath, the water we drink....it is our only Earth, so we must take care of it. Prayers not only needed for the wildlife, but also for the people trying to fight the problem, the fishermen and others who will be devestated by it, andthat God will have mercy on the ones who caused this (don't believe this was an accident)....   Good on you for spreading the message :] I'm of the belief too that there's probably something in the appreciation of energy fields regardless of religious feelings etc. It can be like religion in that it's a devout meditation and deep awareness of those surrounding you, it's a spirituality, a philosophy of love. And it needs to pervade collective consciousness on a massive scale if there's to be a decent global attitude shift in favour of our natural heritage. brb hugging trees.   This topic literally makes me feel so sick...whenever I hear about it on the radio, on the internet, wherever it just breaks my heart. The amazing, mysterious, beautiful ocean tainted by thick, oily gunk. I just don't understand WHY in the world they would choose to drill in the ocean when there are several other HUGE oil deposits in the United States. You are very right thought about thoughts and prayers, I have been praying about this and will continue to do so.
