Hello, everyone!

Monday was my second day of clown class. We spent a lot of time talking about clown names and personas. Several of my class mates had already decided what they wanted to be called - Silly Millie, Cupcake, and Jingles, to name a few.

The name "Scribbles" went over particularly well - Everyone seemed to love it! So after class, I went straight to an office store by my house and ordered my name tag. :) It should be ready within the week!

My costume is starting to come together, but there's still quite a way to go.

Here's some stuff I have so far

- A clown collar.

(It's actually a toddler's tutu from Claire's,
but it makes the perfect ruffle for around my neck.)

- A pair of purple, pink, and blue striped knee socks.

- A pink headband with a giant flower on top.

- Fingerless fishnet armwarmers in bright pink.

- A giant pencil.

My super crafty mom is helping me out quite a bit. She says she's going to make me a knee-length skirt with bloomers and a matching blouse. We already went to Jo-Ann's the other day to pick out fabric and patterns. (I chose purple and some polka dots.)

As for my wig, I'm planning on visiting Costume Castle sometime this week with my best friend to try on all the different colors and styles. (The clowns in my group get a 20% discount there, year-round. Score!)

Shoes are probably my biggest concern right now. I still haven't made up my mind what kind I want to wear. As my teal Docs are still eluding me for any price I can afford, it looks like I'm going to have to settle for another shoe.

But which shoe should I choose?

Which ones do you like best?

In other news, I am thrilled to announce that I made the K list again this year!

I love the tutu (great idea!!) & the knee socks. as for the shoes, I really love the teal ballet flats & my 2nd pic is the blue sneaks.
