Cheap retro? or Pricey Modern?

Alright so I am getting married in a year and of course i've gone registry crazy and it's alot of fun BUT unfortunately I can only register for one of each thing(i'm trying to avoid duplicates).
So here's my dilemma, the dishes on the right are by Villeroy & Boch and are around $140 for just one set. The dishes on the left can be found at CB2.com and range from $1.00-$6.00 per dish.
I love both dish sets for their unique styles and they really fit the motif i'm going for. I guess my biggest worry is that the Villroy & Bosh are too pricey and may not be worth it when I could get as many sets of the Zoid dishes as I want that are just as awesome for hundreds of dollars less.
I don't know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!! Haha i'm completely open to suggestions if anyone has any.

Its simple! Put the CB2 ones on your registry, they look almost the same and for waaaay less!
i really like the ones on the left! CB2 always has some awesome suff!
I own the ones on the right but I got my set as wedding gifts....BUT i do have to say that they are sooo worth it even if I bought them!
I love the ones on the right also!!! : }
The main thing to think about is which ones you realy want. You are going to have them forever and you don't want to regret not getting the set you realy like. Personaly I like th set on the right.:)
I love the Villeroy & Boch, but I'd probably go with the CB2. They have the same look to them, and I just can't see spending that much on dishes. Not when there are clothes and boots to shop for! LOL
I think I actually like the shape of the ones on the left better :)
both are pretty nice, but for now go with the cheaper ones :] you'll probably have more expensive things to put on your registry that come before dishes...and if all else fails, bed bath and beyond has a huge selection :]
Yay for wedding registry fun!! I say since it's your day and it's all about what you and your fiance want, go with your heart's desire...regardless of price. Because hey, you only get married once (or in some cases twice), right?
i agree @dreapuff
I love the left ones. :D Cheaper and just as pretty.
