I love clothes, but my outfits are very simple. Tee with some kind of print or saying (usually food related), belt, pants/jeans of some sort, and throw on a cardigan and I'm good to go.
For shirts, I was getting them mainly from delias and the occasional grab bag sale from cotton factory, but my bf has turned me onto tshirt woot which is totally awesome. Tees for ten bucks AND free shipping? Hell yes.
My outfit here, the tee and pants are from delias (delias has a myriad of inseams which is fantastic) and the belt from fossil. I'm a shortie and a lazie so I'm not going to buy clothes then get them altered so I prefer to just buy them the appropriate size to begin with, which is limiting because a tiny fit with a 30 inch inseam is hard to come by.
So creativity on my clothing, a zero. Where I think I should get the creativity point is how I took this photo. One cordless mouse in hand not in the photo and one webcam hanging from a ceiling fan.

Sometimes woot has a random shirt for $6.66, which is a good deal for their t-shirts. BUT if you check on the right day, they (rarely) have 3 shirts for $6.66, which is nuts!! Next time I see one, i'll let you know :-)

Great picture; and I usually sport the tshirt and jean assemble when I'm at the Art department, so it's good stuff.

yeah at 28 i would be taller than you! i can't imagine your hard luck finding pants! its just i read an article that the average height for an american woman is 5'4 at 130 pounds and the average height for a chinese woman is 5'2 at 110 pounds.... so since i'm 5'1 i'm shorter than the average chinese woman... i always find that amusing. though i read that a few years back so that info might be outdated. either way, i'm below average in america and shopping for clothes proves it...
I was going to ask how you took the pic! The outfit is cute -- def not boring -- unassuming if anything (and that's not a bad thing).
I have the same problem as jenkc -- actually, 6'0 isn't too tall for a guy, but combine that with a 28" waist... all my other measurements are likewise thin and lengthy. Very hard to find clothes, especially since I don't like showing off half my calf when I sit down. At least dress clothes I can get tailored -- that's not too cost effective for casual wear.
i know what you mean, i'm 5 foot and it's almost impossible to find pants that fit me off the rack. tiny people unite!

yes they are corduroy, i find them a nice alternative to jeans
