So. I bought (what I thought) was this scarf at work the other day. It was cheap, so I just threw it in the cart and figured if it didn't look good around my neck, I'd throw it over an end table or something. But then, upon closer inspection, I discovered that it had these straps and buttons off the ends of it, making me wonder - what the hell kind of scarf is this? Or is it a scarf at all?

Above, here's a couple of pictures of what I thought it might actually be. First, a belt/skirt sort of thing. Second, a regular scarf (though I had to wrap the straps around my neck a few times). Or third, some sort of bizarre halter top.

I could only put three pictures on here, but I also tried it on as a sort of nun-like head wrap, and of course a superman cape. Wooo!

Anyway. What do you guys think it was intended to be? Or any suggestions as to what else I can use it for?

Is it a bandanna? That is, would it be useful for hold-ups?I think the waitress effect around the waist comes from it going over something else, but it looks too skimpy to wear by itself.Does anyone else ever wonder if some people make strange stuff just to donate it and confuse other people? Zow, we get crazy stuff like you wouldn't believe in that store,haha. I thought buying a "scarf" was relatively safe! And it's kind of huge and glittery to be a bandana.
