I never thought I would be one of those peoples who
lives off a electronic device. I'm not sure how I envisioned growing up with technology but it's gotten to the point where I don't go anywhere without my work issued Blackberry and until recently, my personal cellphone. As my cellphone contract was ending, I decided to trade them both in for one device. I thought about the iphone, but I've heard, AT&T sucks in New York. I've had Verizon for almost forever without a problem, so I stuck with it.
I chose the
Blackberry 8830 World Edition in red, the one everybody and their mothers have, but I like the way it looked. The only drawback is that this model does not have a camera on it, which did have me torn. But I liked the red color so I got it anyway. I do miss not having a camera that easily accessible some times.
Now everyone where I go, my phone goes, and it can even go internationally with me. Why do I need it all the time? All my contacts are in there for e-mailing and calling, I have my work e-mail (which is not always a good thing) and my personal e-mail at my finger tips, if I need something off the internet (which came in handy in
Oahu when I needed the number to my hotel), my calendar is on it, and finally, I can
Twitter or
my blog wherever I am. ;)
