Off My Butt

Wii Fit with Balance...
I pre-ordered my Wii Fit a month before it came out. It was one of the purchases I didn't tell my hubby about. And of course, when it came, he rolled his eyes. But it's one of those purchases that we both enjoy using, for different reasons.

I love doing the yoga and strength exercises. I like the balance games, but balance is definitely not my forte. My husband gets bored with the actual exercises and loves the balance and aerobic games. I'm just glad we're both getting some form of exercise out of it.

But what I love about it is that it keeps track of my progress for me. I'm all about results, but if it's not something I can see in an Excel chart or a graph, it's hard to keep me interested. I love looking at it to see my weight and BMI on a chart, it helps me work out more because I am working towards a goal that can be measured. When I go to the gym, I go through the motions of working out, but don't really know if it's helping at all, so the Wii Fit solved my problems. Also when you go to the gym, or do some kind of activity outside of the Wii Fit, it can be recorded through Wii Fit too, so it's not only about what you do with the system.

The one drawback? It's white! What were they thinking??

LOVE the Wii Fit, my boyfriend and I get so competitive!

My husband and I get competitive, but I really really suck at the balance games. I didn't know my hula-hopping skills were shabby compared to him. ;)

How do you blog on kaboodle i tried i can`t find the feaure. Can you help me out?

Got me back on track on fitness. Although I am doing more off living room exercises (i.e. walking and biking) it is a great motivator.
