  themeadowlark: I really think that smaller ceremonies are the way to go; my sister had an actual wedding, not a huge one or anything, but still a wedding, and the day ended up being so jam-packed and crazy for her and my brother-in-law that they barely got to eat any of the food or talk to any of the guests.
