  I love the simplicity of the room as it is, but it's driving me nuts that the rug isn't centered under the table.Instead of a random end table with a short lamp throwing the proportion off in the room, I'd love to see a buffet table with high, dramatic lighting and some pops of saturated color.   Ok, so let's say I go with the red walls, and take the suggestion of dramatic lighting.....what do you think of this light: three light pendant?   You're kitchen or your dining still looks nice, but you can add more life to it. I suggest that you repaint it with brighter colors, put some stylish curtain and hang some paintings or decors on your wall.You can also replace your table, why not try having a circle one.
