Why you may ask?
This fall is all about brown. The classic black has fallen out of style and straight into the bargin bin! Chocolate brown, dirt brown, light brown, beige.. every shade you could imagine. It is just a universally flattering shade for every skin tone. Unlike black, it wont make pale people look like ghosts. When choosing a brown jacket try not to use a pattern, stick to solids. So what style will you choose? Leather, bomber, hooded, with fur, trench? Whatever it is, hit the town with brown!

I don't wear much brown (I think I have one brown skirt and one brown sweater and that's it). I always think it makes me look...I don't know, not good. Heh. I wear tons of black, though...It may well make me look more pale, but I'm OK with that. :) It's not that I don't like brown, because it's a nice colour and other people always look good in it, but I don't like it on myself.
I have to consciously stop myself from buying too much brown. I love brown, it has a depth and richness that black lacks. (And Cristina, does anything NOT make you look pale? ;)
Standing next to an albino?
Black out of style? When? The FW 08 runways are crawing with black! I'm a fan of brown, don't get me wrong, but black is always in style. ;)
I'm drawn to rich colors but I generally play it safe and instead buy neutrals like brown, grey & black. So this is a trend I'm going to have to rebel against - I need more color in my life! :)
