You know when you see those amazing looking products at sephora, mac or even online and you just go "OOOOOO"? SO gorgeous right?
The problem with them is number one, they are almost alway expensive (the first guerlain one is I think 65 and the dior one is about 55?) that it would be hard to buy them in the first place, and number two they are so pretty I wouldn't want to use them!
I could imagine using the bobbi brown one, but the guerlain might be a bit harder, wouldn't want to get rid of the beautiful design... but the dior one! Oh my good gosh! Its like an art mosaic! I would want to use it, but i wouldn't want to ruin it! And knowing me, I would drop it and crack it or something silly like that. Seeing as I broke two of my MAC pressed powders, it wouldn't surprise me.
So, I know that rant kinda didn't have a point, but I just thought I would share my opinions on all this.

Why doesn't someone start a business making heat moulds that women can use to press into their powdered compacts? Miniature sandboxes to make beautiful images out of. At least make the casings with rubberized grips instead of slippery plastic so women won't smash them so often. R&D should be fired
I can SO relate to this. I have a Chanel eyeshadow that's this gorgeous marble swirl and I barely use it because it's so pretty I don't want to mess it all up. LOL!

Haha, this post is funny. I hate when they do this because makeup should be used. I would try it out in the store and see if it was magic for my skin and at least then you'd know it was worth owning even if you used it sparingly.

I love buy new cosmetics and sometimes i dont care if they are expensive , but most of the time that i buy them, OMG i'm like what ?? ... this is not what i was expecting!! haha... love this blogazine...

I was in Sephora yesterday and stared at those Dior compacts for a good ten minutes before moving on. ;)
same thing here! If i buy it I'll probably use it once or twice and I'll be EXTRA careful with it!

I love the browns! If you like those colors and you don't want a paletteyou will feel guilty ruining, you should try the LORAC croc palette - similar colors plus blush, and they are just nice little squares. I use this one almost everyday.

lol, its funny cus i always admire them... but once the first layer is off its not so pretty... its like damn i spent all that money for this!?!?!?! lol oh well we are slaves to it though!
