Weird and Interesting furniture

Have you ever seen a piece of furniture that confuses you?
To have you wondering "How does that work now?" is specifically the designers intention! Take for example the two products I have here.
The Lila Jang design of the modern sofa is so intreguing! The thought of having part of a sofa climbing a wall is amazing. Of course you can sit in it, but why would you? The sofa its self is an art form alone! I would LOVE to see this in a museum of modern art. It would be pretty cool to have it not only as a display but also as seating areas.
Secondly, the egg pod bed. I would simply adore this. I am a huge fan of being in closed spaces with little or no room to move. To just be able to escape to a little paradise of a bed or personal space is awesome. Somebody buy me this! =) But if you are closterphobic I don't reccomend buying this.. haha.

Love the post, but it is spelled claustrophobic. The bed does seem like a way to get away from everything. And the chair is both gorgeous and delicately made, which is rare.

I think weird furniture is awesome! It's art! I have always dreamed of creating a room in my house with just weird furniture. I bet peoples expressions would be awesome! I've even created a list full of unique items for my "one day" odd bedroom! hehehe great blog! <3 <3 <3

The chair does looks weird. I don't think I would buy it to sit in it. It's best used as a art display. As for the bed, it's creative, but it's not something I would relax in. Too closed in. I would lay in it to take a quick pic! Thanks for sharing this blog.
Totally weird - but very interesting! I would love to have something that crazy in my apartment.
i also like to escape and be in my own private corner, growing up i would always hide under the table and just chill there for hours (my mom was kinda concerned 4 me at first) but yea i need this bed it was made 4 ppl like me, who need privacy!
