Beauty Diaries - Day 1

To keep myself motivated so that I don't do the same beauty routine everyday, once a month I'm going to do a Beauty Diaries blog series. I'll post a different hair and beauty look everyday for a week. Don't feel like you have to look at them all, just look at the ones that interest you :) Enjoy!
Day 1 - Saturday 11.7.09Hair
I just curled my hair. I take about a one inch section of hair and wrap it around the iron and i hold the iron vertically for about a minute (because my hair is so fine and thin). This took me about an hour or so...
Nails
60 Seconds nail polish in #280 "Stop Traffic"
I didn't put a top coat on cause I'll probably repaint them before monday...
Make Up
I did a pretty natural look today. I used a brown eyeliner that came in my Brown Smokey Eyes kit from Sephora. Then I kind of heavily lined the top lid with the same. I used the shadows from my smokey eyes kit next. I mixed a slightly sparkly chocolate brown color with a neutral tan shadow and covered my lid. Then I took a golden color and put that on top. Then I put on Sephora brand mascara. When I put on mascara I start heavily on the base of my lashes and then work my way up. I think it makes your lashes look thicker if there's a little more on the base of the lashes. Then I lightly put mascara on the bottom lashes.

Such a great idea!! Your hair looks so pretty. I try and make myself use a different product every day so I make sure I use all of my make-up (I have a lot!). This keeps my look fresh. I have a feeling I may borrow this blogazine idea in the new year.

Well I guess your found the right person to cut your hair and the right products. Your hair looks hot in these pictures. To give yourself a boost sometime you do need to change it up. This will make it fun to be looking for something new to try or do Month. Have a blast you need it!!! : }

Did you get your nose pierced? or has it always been done? Either way, adorable! I so wanna get mine done, but i'm a scardy cat! You look beautiful and natural. Which I think is the best way to go when your at school.... but thats just me! The weekends are time to acty crazy and have fun with your makeup! Or blow caution to the wind and go all out at school. Im rambling.... so sorry!
