My son just got his first "big boy bed." We set it up last night. I don't think we're going to get much sleep for a while. He kept getting out of bed, turning on all the lights and trying to climb up his bookshelves.

I was also in fear all night because the house alarm is right above his bed. He will push any button he can reach. And with the leverage he can. Luckily, he has not pressed that one yet. But he will.......

As an aside, this bed is absolutely perfect for a kid moving from a crib to a bigger bed.

My 2 year old switched to a big boy car bed about 5 months ago, we never had much trouble with him getting out of bed, but about 3 days ago he discovered he was tall enough to switch on and off the lights...now we cant keep him down. I keep hearing him get up, switch on the light and either go back to bed or play with his toys or read a book.
