Pink Plaid Thank You...

Womens Sexy Pink Plaid...

Pink plaid is its own trend, albeit a small one (for now) and it's slighty more popular than you think. It's not just for girls or preppy people. Pop punk fashion followers and even guys alike have both been caught wearing it.

Need proof? Here's TWO examples that (oddly enough) both include contestants from American Idol. First do a Google search of "David Cook pink plaid" (but without the quotation marks) and you will find pictures of the American Idol winner wearing a pink plaid shirt for a performance on Good Morning America. Then do a search with the words "Danny Gokey pink plaid" (again, without the quotation marks), and you will find pictures of the American Idol contestant in pink plaid pants.

Just about any kind of clothing, accessories or other items you can think of can be found in pink plaid- t-shirts, pants, hats, belts, shoes, purses, scarves, bedding & room or home décor-the list goes on. Do a search for pink plaid on Amazon or Google, and you'll see just how many different items pop up.

You'll also find out that not all pink plaids-- or even plaids in general-- are the same. You can see this just by looking at the products featured in this bllog entry. Patterns and other supporting colors within a plaid design can make it look more punk than prep, or more urban than country. Some plaids are light while others are dark. Some patterns are quite simple, while other patterns are more intricate and detailed. A person's fashion preference will influence what type or color of plaid they'll choose (or even whether they'll go for plaid at all).

So, are you interested in plaid? Like (or love) the color pink? Need more of a guide before you try incorporating it into your wardrobe or elsewhere? Well, there is a detailed pink plaid lens on Squidoo that you can visit to see some of the best (and worst) pink plaid patterns. For example, the web page compares two pairs of skinny pants--both pink plaid-- but with different patterns and colors, and has a voting poll where you can vote for which pair of pants looks best. The page also features a prom dress (hey, some girls can probably pull it off), a jumper from Delia's.com, products from eBay and Amazon, and Pink Punk, a product line containing a series of accessories, shoes, and other merchandise with pink plaid designs (as well as other designs) featured on them. The line includes trucker hats, a tie, a couple pairs of shoes/sneakers, bags, mugs, greeting cards and more.

If, you're looking for a particular item such as shoes or hats in pink plaid, then scroll down the web page to find the Related Lenses section, where the pink plaid shoes & pink plaid hats lenses are listed. The pink plaid hats lens focuses on newsboys-style hats, casual caps and fedoras, and more. The pink plaid shoes lens focuses on sneakers, heels, platforms, and even shoes just for little girls. (Feel free to make a suggestion about other pink plaid products in any of the guestbooks on any of the lenses.)

So, if you're thinking about buying your favorite clothing, accessories or other merchandise in pink plaid, go ahead and indulge yourself!
