Are any of you like me and do most of your Holiday shopping online  If so, I wanted to share with you something I use during the holidays that last year earned me some decent cash back.  If you've been my Kaboodle friend for awhile, you may have seen my previous post about it a year or so ago, but if you're a newer friend  you might not.

Last year, I did a lot of my Christmas shopping online, and did a lot of it through Ebates.  Ebates is a rebate website for shopping online.  All I do is go to Ebates.com, sign in, find the store I'm shopping online that day, click through, complete my purchase, and boom, I earned some cash back.

One downside is that it does take 30-90 days, depending on the online store's return policy, to get a check since they have to make sure you don't turn around and return your whole order after you get the rebate.  It's basically like in-store mail in rebates in that sense - except now clipping UPCs or circling receipts. It's actually kind of like a surprise when the check does show up in the mail - and after the holidays last year, and being broke by the time it was done, it was great to get some money in February/March to go out shopping for Spring a little.

They also sometimes have coupon offers on top of the rebates like 15-20% off or Free Shipping.  There are quite a few stores on there, as well. Most of the popular ones tend to offer some sort of rebate through them.

The rebate % amount can vary, but during busy shopping periods like now, often stores will offer double rebates.  I always figure, if I'm buying something anyway, I might as well get something back, even if it take a while to earn it up. But, I do a lot of my online shopper so it doesn't take long for it to add up for me.  To give you an idea, I've been a member since 2007 and have earned 185.00 in cash back since then, with 20.00 pending right now.  I do forget to go there and click through sometimes, so it would probably be bigger if I didn't forget a lot.
