I have yet to figure out how to add more pictures to the blogazine in the body of the post, so for now you'll just have to suffer through two separate Halloween blogazine posts from me :) Hmm, maybe 3 since I need to show you my kids costumes and the pumpkins we carved. Maybe I should just remember my flickr password and post them there.
This is my costume from today and a shot from Saturday's costume. I won a dance contest on Saturday, too! The bar I was at gave out a tee shirt to the best dancer and the worst dancer on the floor. I'm pretty sure I wasn't given the tee shirt for being the worst, haha. Actually later they mentioned me winning for best dancer earlier in the night during the costume contest. I didn't make the top 3 for the costume contest, but not sure many people remember who Lara Croft is anymore. But I had fun wearing it, and felt very bada _ _ in it ;)
Today I helped out in my daughter's classrooms, and was one of few parents in the whole school who dressed up. But I got lots of compliments from adults, and Wows from kids for my Cleo costume. I think I was an Ancient Egyptian in a past life, haha. I had a few tutorials saved, but decided to just do green shadow and freehand the eyes based on what I'd seen in pictures. I think I did alright.
