Karl Who, indeed. Has anyone else had a browse through the new Karl Lagerfeld collection at Net-a-porter? I've been waiting to see someone blogging about it here but, no dice. So, I'll put myself out there: I'm a little disappointed. After all the buzz and all the waiting, this is it? I like the Ordina and Oralee biker jackets and I saved the silver skinnies to a list, but I'm pretty sure I could get very similar items elsewhere. It's a bit cheeky with the collars and gloves, I get it. But, quite frankly, I think the Davina dress (above) is horrid AND it's polyester. Am I missing something? Anyone else want to weigh in?

I'm pretty underwhelmed by this collection too. The PVC stuff looks like trash bags and a lot of the outfits are sloppy looking. If such a big deal hadn't been made over this collection I might be more forgiving. I do like some of the same pieces as you, but I'm not in love with anything from the collection, and that's rare. Heh, I had no idea this even existed because I pay no attention to this stuff. But I do have to say that, at least with the Macy's line, things made out of icky low end materials were totally inexpensive. That said, now that I'm looking at this stuff, some of it I do totally dig. Some of it def looks a bit tacky...and with those price tags! But I do love some of the items, all of the ones @alicatstrut mention, especially those collars!
