For the annual Kaboodle Halloween Party I was... drum roll please... a Christmas mantle! The idea came to my whilst browsing the holiday clad aisles of Michale's craft store. If this costume stirs your inner undead, here are the supplies you will need:

Sweatshirt
Mini stockings
Garland
Felt (yellow, orange, red and brown for the fire place)
Fabric glue

Assembly is so easy, even a caveman could do it:
1. Cut out flame shapes from felt and attach using fabric glue (To add some flare, I also used a bit of glitter gel to outline the shapes)
2. Attach mini stockings using fabric glue
3. Attach garland with a simple thread and needle stitch above each stocking

Wam bam! You're a full blown merry mantle!
