Those of you with whom I've been friends for a while might remember when I posted about the craziest shoes I owned (that's A). Well, I bought The Mather Night Walker (that's B) and, I don't know, it might be the new champion of craziness. What do you think - does A still reign supreme or is there a new queen bee?

Here are some other shots to help you help me decide:

Some facts: A is better made and more likely to last a long time. B is comfier and easier to walk in (hard as that may be to believe!).

This isn't actually what I wore today. I wore the outfit to the Slackers 20th Reunion show at the Bowery on Friday. (Top by Ruby Sky for a buck at a tag sale, shorts by Fletcher by Lyell for $9.99 at UO, lace capris by Zara for a buck at a tag sale.) My outfit today didn't work for playing with the crazy shoes but I'll have it up at my regular blog at some point. I'm kind of excited about it because I found this bag I'd been wanting to find for a LONG time and it was my first day carrying it.

You manage to make anything look fashionable. Love your outfit, btw. I think B is the crazier one, and I am surprised to hear it is more comfortable. It is sort of bouncy when you walk? Have you lost weight, or is this outfit just extra slimming? You've always looked fab, but this outfit has you looking extra lean :) I definitely would say B is the crazier pair. I'd love to try a pair on just to see what it feels like to walk in them! But they're tooooo crazy for me. Love seeing you rock 'em though. Style fierceness props to you! I'm a member of The Church of Slack! I remember those Eiffel Tower-y shoes. I love those! The other ones are a bit crazier in a double-take kinda way, but shoe A is still the lovelier lass. I love your coulottes, but where's the bag? Maybe I have to go to the regular blog. I love the bolo necklace, too. You may have inspired me to dig mine out. :) Thanks, everyone. @paws72 - It's not bouncy, no. But that made me laugh. It feels just like walking on the kind of heel that slants inward instead of coming straight down from the end of your foot. But, you know, more so. @triplyksis - Thanks, girl. Let me tell you, A is pretty crazy in person. The whole bottom is made of metal and each weighs a couple of pounds. Very restrictive to walk in. @agauthier79 and @miss_daphne - Good eyes. I was on a birth control pill and am currently off. This is my natural weight and, as soon as I went off the pill, the pill weight started disappearing. The pants are, even so, extremely slimming!
