I am absolutely wrecked after throwing our Halloween bash. I was up for over 24 hours straight between setting up, partying, cleaning up and all the insomnia in between from stressing over everything. It wasn't my typical party since it was at a fencing gym instead of my house, and I wish I had done some things differently, but it was a great time.
Our Futurama costumes didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. My son was perfect as Nibbler, but we were so busy setting up the party that my husband's and my costumes didn't really get pulled together. His hair wouldn't stay up and the orange spray didn't show very well. My purple hair was also tough to see in the lighting, and I lost my armband and had to cobble together a new one at the last minute. But it still worked out OK in the end.

That is still some pretty kick butt costumes! I think you guys look great. Its hard to make it all perfect when you're busy busy busy! Great idea for a theme. I love Futurama, and hope the new episodes they are bringing back will be just as good as the old ones.

@giz89 Mostly I keep the eye on my forehead and just brought it down for pictures. If I had more time I would have tried making bigger holes and covering it from the inside with gauze.

i hate that damn colored hair spray!!!!! it doesn't work worth a crap!!! I too had purple for my neice -- she was a little witch, and it hardly showed. I am sooo writing a complaint to them. I mean what... does your hair have to be bleach blonde for it to show!? [[grumble]]
sorry for the rant, i just feel your pain on that one.
as far as your costumes, i think they are great. I don't think anyone else could have done a better job. *OH!, maybe for yourself - if you do it again, I suggest a purple wig. ;)
