I am so excited for this movie! I've always loved Alice in Wonderland- anyone remember the lengthy tv movie that would span over several nights? That was one of my favorite versions. I have it on tape, as well as the disney version!

My family dressed up as Alice characters this past Halloween. I should post pictures! My oldest blonde haired blue eyed little girl was Alice, my mischievous 2 year old was the Cheshire cat, and my husband and I were the King and Queen of hearts, respectively. I really wanted to be a sexy Mad Hatter, but didn't know what I would dress my Hubby as if I was that. He wasn't too keen on the idea of being the White Rabbit or any other rodent character!

I love the Cheshire cat and can't wait to see what Burton does with it. Maybe something similar to American McGee's cat in style? Anyone seen sneak peaks of the cat yet?

@hophead - to me it's kind of disappointing because I like johnny depp and want to see him, not Frodo on acid. But I am sure it'll work in the end....hopefully.

Yeah, he does look like Elijah Wood there! I cannot wait to see this film. I think it's going to look fantastic! It's so saturated with colour and the effects they have used for the characters are pretty amazing looking.
