Day 2 - we had until 2:30 p.m. to see the city before we needed to meet back at the hotel & get ready for the fashion show.

I asked Claire if she wouldn't mind being my buddy for the day, since she lives close to NY she is pretty familiar with it. Luckily our hotel was only two blocks from Central Park and that's where we started. I probably annoyed her by taking a picture every 3rd step!

After that I just HAD to get some coffee and sit down. All of that walking is so new to me since I'm from California - we drive everywhere! Once caffeinated, we decided to walk along Broadway and go to Times Square. One of the first places we went to was the giant Toys 'R Us store. It is amazing! There is a working ferris wheel inside, a giant animatronic dinosaur, life sized lego structures and more! Claire & I totally geeked out inside the store and took several silly pictures. The last one is of me in the Candy Land section with a giant lollipop.

As for what I wore:

Cream & Coral Cardi from Francesca's
Vintage Coach Cross-Body Purse
Essie's Cute as a Button polish (my new favorite!)

P.S. Can someone tell me why there is a French flag flying in the background of my Times Square picture?

haha I would never in a million years get annoyed with someone taking a lot of pictures because I think I take more than anyone in the world. I had such a fun time in NY with you.!
