There is an abbundance of people out there that have or had swine flu. Schools are closing, people are worried everywhere. We are talking about H1N1, a potentially deadly disease. So this leaves me wondering why people say thery aren't going to get the vaccine?
Here's what I think, This new vaccine sounds very safe, doctors everywhere are insisting on people getting this vaccine (I should know both of my parents are doctors), some schools are even giving out this vaccine, so if you have the chance by all means go for it!
I understand that It's hard to track down this vaccine because it's going very quickly and there's simply not a lot in stalk, but recently a school in NY was giving out the vaccine and more than half of the parents declined the oppurtunity! People are saying the chances of them or they're children getting a fatil case of swine flu are very unlikely but Like they said on 60 minutes, it's like as if people didn't wear seatbelts.

I dont think its about trusting or not trusting vaccines per say. Its about leaving things up to your immune system. I have never got the flu shot in my whole life. And i would say im pretty healthy. They are not offering the vaccine for H1N1 here in our area. But we all went to get our flu shot they are not giving them out everywhere like they use to. Dr. only is all we could find.
