HUGE Rings: Update

HUGE RINGS are amazing, in my opinion. Especially if they are not over the top in any other way, simply attractive but fun. I wouldn't like to wear something so outlandish everyone stared at me the second I walked into the room. I wouldn't like to wear something requiring me to maneuver around people or things. Still, something different and pretty always appeals to me.
In April 2010 I happened to see this awesome ring. After a bit of hunting, I found the one I had seen and a bunch of others on Etsy. These are made by a woman who lives in Australia. Last year I did a blog on the rings and made a prediction they would become a trend.
Recently I went looking for the ring again, because I definitely have seen a trend in larger two and three finger rings this year. I have not seen any of this type, but I still believe this will be a huge trend. The designer has sold nearly 1,000 since she first started making them in 2009. She has added many more choices over the past year.
I asked her about weight and convenience in using your fingers while wearing one of her rings, since that was something many Kaboodlers mentioned as a concern. She assured me those factors were addressed when she first designed the rings. Her rings are worn on the middle finger. They do weigh a little more, but each ring is ergonomically designed so the weight is balanced and actually spread across all four fingers. Since it is worn on only one finger it doesn't interfere with the way you use your hand or your fingers.
These rings are my favorite because they are attractive, unique and very affordable. That's my update, now I'd like to hear back from those of you who saw last year's blog. I'd love to hear comments from anyone who hasn't seen these rings before too. So, let me know what you think!
