I think that the ladys that cleans the tolite is Filthy rich ...lol if the customers don't flush the tolite at the ice cream $hop. ...lol
Wow, that's actually kind of cool. I'm not sure how it would fare in your digestive system but I would personally rather have my gold on jewelrey, not in my belly!
I think it's kind of a cool concept. If you have that kind of money to throw away, why not? I actually saw this on Food Network before, and all the stuff they put in it sounds amazing. I personally would not spend $1000 on a sundae, but maybe if I had that kind of money, I would feel differently. It would be kind of cool for a special occasion.
HA! That is hilarious! Who would spend that much money to EAT GOLD? rofl...those Upper East Side snobs lol
Great post though, very interesting =]]]
I think you should only eat something to acquire taste of a fenomenale sensation. Not may people would eat thousand dollar bill only if it tasted like crack or like something else to get high on.
I would keep the gold to acquired something nice by making jewelry out of it. Then it worth buying this ice cream. It no worth telling your friends , that your $hit is worth more then the $hit you go on. Nobody will belief that any way.
wow. sorry to offend anyone, but that is so dumb. srsly, why would you just throw money away like that when there are people who cant even buy their own food. and who needs METAL on their frikin ice cream?! that's disgusting. its not like it makes the ice cream taste better...thanks for posting this, though. its really nice to laugh about how stupid and materialistic people are sometimes
My apologies....apparently, now they have a sundae that costs 25,000 dollars and it DOES include 5 grams of "edible gold" and is served in a goblet lined with edible gold. It also comes with souvenirs including a gold bracelet with diamond. They did it for the Guinness World Record. Kudos hancutie for finding this strange dessert. (Now I am wondering how they make gold edible????)
I thought the "gold" was maybe just really expensive ingredients made to look like gold. I didn't think you could eat real gold and not get sick. (Personally EATING that kind of money would definitely make me sick.
I don't think that this would actually taste all that good! But it sure looks cool. :P
Wow I think that's interesting but considering our economic situation...well, it's kind of terrible.
Duh ! What you wash it through with GOLDSCHLAGER TOO!
A little goldleaf MAYBE , BUT REAL GOLD, NO WAY !!
Wow that's amazing!!
What discovery!
unbelivable
no thanks id rather eat ben & jerrys haha
That's just crazy! hahaha
that's a lot of money for ice-cream! that's just plain crazy! :)
That's crazy. I love ice cream but not for this time. LOL
I was kind of thinking the same thing @Paws72. They made it look like real gold, but it's actually real. However, my perspective is different from many of you. I don't think whoever splurges on Gold Ice Cream would actually eat it unless they don't have any common sense. Seems to me, it's more like a bribe to have people "pick out" the gold, then eat the Ice Cream, so they'll have something for themself. Yep, I believe so. I wouldn't pay that much money for Ice cream to get a little "treasure" even if I was rich. Don't let money/material things make you. Spend your money wisely. You can get gold another way and much cheaper by going to a jewelry store.
lol I know they have an alcolic drink with little gold flecks in it...not sure I'd buy it
