great review! and i've had trouble with lash blast being clumpy as well. if you don't mind picking out the clumps and if you like the way it looks, use it up! ;) i haven't found a mascara i really like yet, and I've been wearing mascara for years.

lol i hate mascara just because like its always clumpy. the one that i didnt have a fit with was the mini brush one i forgot what its called something about finding your lashes. thanks for the info!

Honey, welcome to the fabulous world of cosmetics! Mascara, ideally, shouldn't clump, but. . . . . You can scrape excess off on the side of the tube or use a bit of paper towel. But my best suggestion for you is to get a lash comb. The sharper the teeth the better, so you don't end up looking like you have only 4 fat lashes. The combs that are combined with a brow brush all-in-one usually suck. Sonia Kashuk (@Target) has a great comb for about $6.

I love Lash Blast because I don't need to use a lash curler. All I do is spin the wand and curl my eyelashes up and they look like false lashes. It's my favorite mascara. The Waterproof is better because if u cry or ur allergies get bad, your makeup won't run. If u don't want the mascara to flake, I highly recommend blotting the wand with a tissue or just cleaning it off first before dipping it back in. That should help :)

yeahh, i use both of those products.. :] i love covergirl lashblast luxe. it's shimmery! you should try it. (: and yeah, i love herbal essences. i have the shampoo it this blue bottle, and the conditioner in this pink and white bottle. and i have the tousle me softly thing on the left- the little one. it works SOOOO WELL! :D i get out of the shower and put it in while blow-drying. :] well...peace! :P -anna

I love Herbal Essences new stuff! I have never tried Tousle Me Softly but i bet its great!
If you want to tousle your hair, try this: After washing your hair, let it air dry, then put some of the Tousle Me Softly mousse in your hands, flip your hair upside down and get it all in there. Then flip your hair up, fix and flyaways and your done! =]

Mascara can be kinda clumpy. A couple tips. Before applying it to your lashes, give it a little roll over a tissue or makeup sponge - something not too linty. Also, be sure to let it dry between coats. A great way to pick apart the stuck together clumped lashes is with an eyebrow brush. You can usually get them pretty cheap in the makeup area of most chains. Or you can always use the end of a toothpick. I usually have a long pinky nail, so I use that lol.

Oh, and if you try to roll the brush as you're applying it...hard to explain, but roll it between your lashes....sorta like you do with a hairbrush when you try to curl the ends of your hair under...that helps eliminate clumps.
