My summer has truly been a bummer! My mom runs a summer camp/daycare in our home, and I've been surrounded by little kids ever since! I haven't traveled anywhere :( and I haven't seen a-lot my friends (except my kaboodle friends. I see you guys everyday!) Shopping has really been all I have been doing, next summer, will definitely be different!

Nothing spectacular. Just hanging w/the pets and the Hubby and doing a log of grilling. We did enjoy the 4th though. We went to a breakfast buffet then headed out to the lake to spend the rest of the day/evening w/his Father and friends. Grilled out, took the pontoon out on the water and headed down to his friends. There was a whole mile we walked of nothing but houses on the lake with festivities going on. Chairs, tables, food, beverages, dogs everywhere. Everyone was so nice so if anyone needed bathroom breaks we were welcome to use their facilities. Fireworks were awesome reflecting on the lake along w/the moon. Great music playing along with the fireworks.

My summer has been going by to fast but next week im going to phoenix to visit family! I also noticed that we have the same birthday!! Aug 22nd!!! But i plan to go shopping in phoenix because the mall here sucks and the Chandler Fashion Center is AMAZING!!

great post.. i loveee summer so much. thats awesome you are going to the lake! have fun :) as for my summer, money is tight this year so we havent been going that many places but we will be going to Caladesi Island this month and possibly cedar key before the end of summer.. other than that i've gotten to go swimming at one of the campus pools nearby, i love the water!

I on the other hand am....also having fun! Tommarrow I am going to the Aniversery Sale at Nordstrom to get a pair of running shoes for my Volleyball camp on Sunday! It's a overnight camp at St. Marys college and we get to sleep in the dorm rooms. I am really excited! I am also going to Whidby island which is off the coast of Washingtion. It is really fun because I get to stay in a really nice beach house and just walk on to the beach. Then school comes, *...sigh...* , the only good thing about starting another school year is the new school shopping, which I am looking forward to!

i really do hate summer, no vacation or anything can make it any better for me. But i'm glad that you're enjoying your summer holiday!

my summer has been alright. i went to mexico on a mission trip, took a session of summer school p.e., and in two weeks im going camping/visiting family in oregon. cant wait for summer sales and back to school shopping :DD as far as things to do this summer (besides shopping and kaboodle) try making collages out of old magazines to decorate your binder with this year. it really keeps you busy for at least a few days :] have fun at the lake!!!

Ugh, this may come out pessimistic cause im not in a good mood right now but my summer is kinda sucking. I have only been swimming once and that was only a dip. I was gonna go yesterday but there was a forest fire in the canyon. I live to swim so its extra hard. Its like 500 degrees here, im having a credit/money issue. DONT GET A CREDIT CARD! NO MATTER HOW EASY IT SEEMS! [if you couldnt tell thats the reason im in a bad mood] lol
But yeah, i went on a road trip in june with my boyfriend, that was a blast! And i think im going to Six Flags on tuesday =]

not too sure what my hoilday plans consist of. my father always likes to make it a suprise. and we always do it the week before school begins..so we wont worry or get upset that school is finally here.

Hope you have fun! I just got out of summer school, so right now im content with just sleeping in. I don't really know what im doing this summer, my dad is supposed to be taking me and BFF to six flags, and my boyfriend is trying to get me to go to camp with him but i don't think I will.

Summer has been alright, I live in San Diego during the year but came home to Chicago (where I'm from) for summer. Such a bummer though because it's been such a cold summer here in Chicago (I wish I was still in SD!). Such is life though, and I've been able to spend time with family which is nice. -^_^-
