Ever walk past a store, have something catch your eye, but then when you look closer at it you have no idea how or when you would wear it? That happens to me all the time. I'll see the latest trend (e.g. the latest trend to wear hot pink make-up) and want it, but hesitate to buy anything because I can't imagine actually wearing it.

What new fashion trends do you love to wear or want to try? How do you dress them down to fit into the everyday? Or do you just wear it like it is?

Hm...good question. It can be tough to wear certain things in everyday. For example, the color for spring for the Alfani line at Macy's is this strange yellow-green. Booger-green, if you will, but I can assure you that it looks better than it sounds, haha. I'm fascinated with the color (it's not quite yellow, but not quite green either), but I was also wondering what to wear it with. I usually take cues with what else they pair it with. In the collection, they are also black and white pieces, so you can create an outfit using those colors. In the case of the hot pink makeup, it's best to do only one: either do the lips or do the eyes, but never both. And you don't have to layer a lot. I've yet to find to lipstick or an eyeshadow that is that bold on the first stroke. Some trends I like trying. When it comes to crazy colors with make-up I sometimes try the very cheap brands. Buy the dollar store version and play around with it and if you like it then go ahead and splurge on the pricey versions. As far as leggings as pants...I refuse.
