I drafted this dress from scratch (thank you Baker College for teaching me interior design skills) and sewed it myself. It took probably 20 + hours of blood sweat and tears but it was worth it. I wanted something semi - fancy for this beautiful outdoor wedding, but nothing in the stores was modest enough for the season. So I was reduced to using my own skills and time. Thankfully God helped me create something that I could be proud of. I even received a few sweet comments. One nice girl I met that day even went as far as to tell me that it looked like something from a BeBe catalog. I wouldn't go that far, but I did feel pretty that day.
