NATURAL ARTISAN JEWELRY Quite unusual, these earrings are handmade from small pieces of Canadian silver birch. The wood is finely sanded, then enhanced with an exquisite, original woodburning design depicting a tiny fern leaf on each. They are completed by a delicate touch of hand-paining in calming green acrylics. The earrings are feather-light and come with Sterling silver earwires, making them very comfortable to wear. They greatly enhance casual clothing, but also look just right with more dressy natural materials, such as a silk blouse. Measuring 1 3/8 inches long, and 3/8 inches wide, total length with the ear hooks is appr. 2 1/4 inches. Since each pair is handcrafted one at a time, their may be slight variations due to the individual character marks of the wood.
