The lace is decorated with hand sewn on black Swarovski Crystals and grey crystal drops, Which do not show up in the photos but do sparkle in normal light and under lights. The beautiful black Venice lace choker has a black and white Cameo, vintage spectacles, old key and heart charm. I've used brass and kept the patina for a subtle look to the metals. It will tell the time, while reminding you how precious it is. Time does fly. This is not just a women's cuff, its size and theme makes it suitable for the gentlemen as well. It features brass and silver plated brass components, Swarovski crystals and pearl, and one working watch face. All components are nickel and lead free. The asymmetrical cuff measures 5.5cm (2 inches) tall at its widest point. The inner width is 6.5cm (2.5 inches). Its inner perimeter is 20cms (7.8 inches). It's a relatively large cuff, and even though it's adjustable, I'd suggest you wear it higher or lower on your arm rather than trying to tighten it, cause of all the complex and fragile gadgets on it. They would be perfect for so many things - art doll angel wings, fairy wings, pendants, altered art embellishments, tiaras - let your imagination run wild! At present, there are no holes in these beauties but I can punch a small hole either at the top for dangling or a hole or a series of holes along the inner side so that the wings may be wired or sewn onto an art doll or a larger piece of jewelry or art. Ad your hole placement preference in the note to sender at the bottom of the invoice when you submit payment! These may also be glued with E6000 or another metal appropriate adhesive. (12/05/08) This waist cincher is amazing! It's made from a pair of authentic, vintage, military spats from World War II. Absolutely steampunk! The fabric is stiff canvas in a faded olive color. It doesn't have any boning, but the stiffness of the fabric does allow for a good deal of shaping and cinching. It's not meant for tight lacing though. It has matching olive lacing up the back and front, so it's fairly adjustable. I'd recommend it for a waist measurement of about 24" at the lowest, up to perhaps 28" to 30" at most. It's actually shaped really well for accentuating your waist and curving out over your hips. Your hip measurement should be at least 34" for a good fit, and I'd recommend it for a bust of 34" up to 36" or so. Unlike the one in the photos above, this is a WAIST CINCHER. It's 9" tall. It has "garter" type straps in front and two small buckles in back - both from the original spats. You could use these to hitch up your skirt in a variety of ways. The pendant features an antique New York Standard pocket watch movement with gorgeous engraved details and 15 genuine ruby jewels.
