(04/23/09) "I went to David's Bridal this past weekend with every intention of choosing a simple dress. I had picked out a beautiful Grecian style as my favorite when my mother (who wants a more elegant wedding for me) convinced me to try on this dress. Although it wasn't what I originally had in mind, I fell in love with it immediately. It fit almost perfectly, and I started to change my mind about the style. The longer I had it on, the more I loved it. The pictures really do not do it justice, there is so much detail and texture to the dress. I returned the next day to try on more dresses, and this one remained my favorite by far. I purchased it in the champagne with the ivory details and I can't wait to wear it. It also looks amazing bussled, although it requires more layers because of the assymetry."See less

I finally went into David's Bridal with a little list of dresses I wanted to try on. The consultant pulled this dress off of the rack as a recommendation based on my taste, and I thought it looked "okay" on the hanger. The second I tried it on, I couldn't take it off! It was gorgeous. I'm on the taller side at 5'9 with a smaller bust, and this dress hugged every curve and draped in just the right ways. There is no need to hem it because it comes at just the right length with a small heel on. The beading is beautiful, yet sturdy. I shimmied and danced around the store and found the dress easy to move around in and not too heavy. Not once while I was going around did I feel like I was going to rip a hem, tear some lace, or have loose beading come undone. I normally wear a 4-6 dress, but had to get a 6 to fit the stomach and hips. The ivory is a beautiful match for beige skin...See less
