According to the last episode at the end of the 2007 season, Jack met up with Kate behind an airport. Kate was very pregnant. Jack told her to go back to her husband (I assume that is Sawyer). Kate and Sawyer did have a relationship when they were locked up in the cage. You cannot depend on this story line though. The writers can always pretend that scene never happened and change things at the leisure. That is what I hate about TV. There is no continuity.
