This was only my second attempt at crochet so I am definitely a beginner but I found this pattern easy to follow and it only took me about a little over an hour to complete. I would highly recommend this and I can't wait to try some of the other veggies. See less

The only thing I did differently was put a collar on it. I didn't stuff the neck enough, so I had a small stitch underneath the collar to hold his head up. I've also changed the pattern a little to make a smaller version. I will be making SEVERAL more of these! See less

I made this for my 9 month old daughter so I just used yarn for the eyes and the smile to be sure nothing pops off into her mouth. I loved the tip about pinning on the legs first before sewing. That really helped. I sewed them on with matching yarn using a whip stitch and pulling tight. See less
