INTRODUCTION: In the fall of 1998 in Japanese arcades, Konami started an undying video game craze that shows no signs of letting down anytime soon - Dance Dance Revolution (or DDR for short.) The craze hit consoles not too long after sweeping arcades on both sides of the Pacific. Pretty much every modern-day video game console has featured some type of DDR release - and rip-offs of the series are becoming increasingly popular, too. 2005 was the year in which Konami and Nintendo joined forces, in what would very likely be a memorable entry in the series.
